i take adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine).  i also workout.  i started some supplements.  are there any interactions, please be specific. supplements are creatine monohydrate, l-arginine, and whey protein with glutamine.

From : From the perspective of western medicine, there's likely nothing bad about these things in combination.  If you've taken the add med for some time, you already know how it affects you and i wouldn't expect you to feel any differently when using the supplements.  Certainly discuss any sudden changes with your doctor if suddenly your add becomes less well controlled.  My guess is that exercising is something that helps keep your add at bay, and if the supplements are helping with that, it's an ok thing to do.

Now, if you want to get a more specific answer about how these supplements are supposed to work, or how they work in concert with each other, i suggest you consult a certified nutritionist or natropathic practitioner.

Forget supplements.: There are no legitimate studies of any size that warrant supplement use. If eating protein made muscles, everybody in America could benchpress a Cadillac with their pinky finger. Increased muscle mass is only due to resistant training of several hours a day, several days a week for months if not years. High protein diets have long been known to be unhealthy. You can take whey: Protein together as long as you are comfortable swallowing it.  Liquid fish oil w/lemon works well.   Fish oil w/milk does not sound good and may not go down easily.  Peace and good health.

Why take processed..: ...Protein at all? Just eat healthy meals, pre-exercise meals should be higher in carbs (not sugar), but all daily meals and snacks should be balanced and contain carbs, proteins, and good fats. An egg white has 10 or so grams of protein at a fraction of the cost of a protein shake.

Whey protein can be: take w/or w/out workouts.  Just investigate the whey product you use.  Make sure it is coming from free range cattle, not cattle that is fed full of hormones and antibiotics.  Peace and good health.

Yes and yes: Just be careful about exposing others to the C diff as it is highly contagious.
