Yes - depends a bit: Most adults need 5-8000 iu of d3/day to achieve optimal levels of 50-80. 
Most multivits have 30-60 iu of e but there are benefits to taking 400-800 iu of e a day, but only as natural e with mixed tocopherols- Alpha tocopherol alone may be hazardous.I advise people take 1-2, 000 mg of c 2x/day.  Too much zinc can be toxic but doses up to 40 mg/day are safe-but balance with copper in a 10-15:1 ratio.

Vitamins: A good multivitamin is a good idea.  It's like an insurance policy for when we don't eat right, don't sleep well, or are especially stressed.  Go to a good store or get some guidance because the popular brands are typically very week and not helpful.  The dose (read label and check that half or more of the ingredients are several 100 per cent above RDA.  Dose more important than a long list.

Yes, in fact wise: Most multivitamins only have 30 iu of vitamin e, which is the rda, but many nutrition experts advise taking 400-800 iu/day. It is important to take a natural e with mixed tocopherols- there is a good deal of research showing the benefits of natural e (d-alpha tocopherol) but synthetic e (dl-alpha tocopehol) appears to be hazardous. If your mulitvit. Has synthetic e switch to a different one!

Yes: Enervon is not a complete mutivitamin. It contains B vitamins (though not all of them) and Vitamin C. It does not have any E so it is safe and reasonable to take Myra E. You might want to consider a more complete multivitamin that has folic acid, vitamins A and D and minerals like zinc, selenium and magnesium. Most multiples only have 30 iu of E so additional E is OK to take.

It is wasteful : There is recommended daily requirement of each vitamin and trace elements. No benefit in taking multiple vit preparations when you have no nutritional deficiency. A good multivitamin preparation contains all components of Vit B Co. With fat soluble vitamins (A, D and E) you run a risk of hypervitaminosis while with the others your body absorbs what it needs only . You end up with expensive urine

Do you need vitamins: There is no evidence to show that healthy people with a basically good diet need any added vitamins or other dietary supplements.  Omega 3/6/9 oils have some evidence for health benefit, but at doses much higher than found in what you buy at the store.  Overall, the supplement industry is a multi-billion dollar industry with no good evidence that it helps anyone significantly.  I would save the $$.

Use a real Rx: Forgive my frankness. Beyond an economical multivitamin-with-minerals, these "health pills" are worthless for acne and are probably not doing you much good in any other way. If topical benzoyl peroxide has not cleared you in two weeks, get with your personal physician who can add something that will. Best wishes.

400 iu not mg!: Check your multivitamin first, because chances are high that it has vitamin E 400 IU in it already, so you do not have to take it separately. Vitamin E is an antioxidant supposedly good for health. The D-tocopherol is the most active form of it, mixed tocopherols are sometimes recommended by others. Speak to your PCP first to get her/ his recommendation.
