can i take pepcid ac and pepto bismol together?

Should be ok if...: If a person had no problems taking Pepcid AC in the recent past for some medical condition, and separately had no problem taking Pepto-Bismol in the recent past, then she should be ok taking the medications at the same time. If worried, she can ask her doctor who prescribed the medications. Sometimes, a brand name (such as Pepto-Bismol) changes its ingredients as the years go by.

OK together: These act on different parts of the GI tract and do not cross react in any way.  It is OK to take them at the same time.

i take zyrtec everyday for sinus issues, and lately taken tylenol for head/body aches (had the flu) , but in a month i have probably taken 20 or so. sometimes i take pepcid ac as well. could this cause liver issues? is tylenol/zeytrc too much?

: An allergy panel  may be helpful. If there is fever, green discharge, a course of antibiotics may be indicated. Nasal saline spray is often effective in reducing the symptoms. Watch for fever and increase in the headache pain.

i have mild chronic gastritis, can i take pepcid ac twice a day long term to treat this? i cannot take ppi because it causes inflammation in my intestines and stomach cramps. doctor found out through cal protocin at 203 levels?

: Pepcid can be taken twice daily for stomach symptoms as well as reflux symptoms. The maximum total dose per day is 40 mg. If symptoms continue after 4 weeks of treatment I would suggest you see your doctor.

dealing with body tension and bloating and been taking 4-8 baby asprin every weekend so it's not so hard on stomach. do i need to worry about that having a bad effect on stomach like bleeding and can i take pepcid ac with it for the bloating?

: The best treatment for your bloating is to find out what is causing it. Bloating is a very broad term and may mean different things in different parts of the US. You body is talking to you. Listen and take good notes and you and your Drs will figure out cause and treat that.

Prilosec OTC: You can try Prilosec otc. Also consider pepto bismol (bismuth subsalicylate). If otc is not helping, you should really consider seeing your doctor for further discussion.

Sinus treatment: If the sinus inflammation is a bacterial infection, oral antibiotics are usually prescribed. If you're basically dealing with nasal congestion, treatment consists of various nasal sprays and other measures like steam inhalation to drain mucus from the sinuses. None of these treatments should be problematic for your peptic ulcer.
