: The is not much harm in accidentally doing this, but the question should be: Why would you? B complex already includes B12. Supplemental B vitamins are only given if there is a vitamin deficiency, a dietary restriction, or a medical problem requiring treatment.

Yes: It is near impossible to overdose on B12 as it is water soluble and easily excreted. My question is do you have a known deficiency or not? If so, levels should be followed by your physician. If not, you probably aren't gaining too much from these high levels besides a lot of B12 in your urine.

Paradox: When you start the correct vitamin treatment there is a paradoxical increase in symptoms that is temporary. Continue and these symptoms will disappear.

It depends on: if you have any nutritional deficiencies, reasons for a nutritionally incomplete diet or malabsorption syndromes.  Remember if you don't have any defined nutritional deficiencies you are better off getting your micronutrients like the B vitamins from whole foods rather than from supplementation.  Alternatively if all you have is a B12 deficiency then you should be fine with a B12 supplement.

NO : The probiotics do not make B12 and vegan diets do not get enough of b vitamins. Need high quality supplements.

Likely fine: I don't see any harm in doing it although there has not been proven benefits from taking a daily multivitamin.

b12 level is 194 pg/ml. pa told me to take b complex vitamins. there's so many to choose from at store. i bought "nature made" b-complex "stress". it has 12 mcg (500%) b12 along with 11 other vitamins. is this a good choice??

: Your B12 level is obviously low so I wonder if you have problem with B12 absorption or because of your diet low in B12. If the cause is dietary, you can take the B-complex preparation with 100 mcg of B12. If you have problem with B12 absorption and you have signs of vitamin B12 deficiency such as anemia or neuropathy, you have to take monthly B12 injection or sublingual B12.

Maybe: A good multivitamin will include c, e, b12, and b-complex so you are probably taking a lot of the same (and spending a lot of money... Vitamins are not cheap!).  Glucosamine is good but you are too young to need it.  If you feel like you need them, i would spend on a good multivitamin that has all that you need.  I personally prefer to get vitamins from fresh foods as they are better absorbed.

OK but not 4 absorb.: It is perfectly fine to take b complex/b12 with magnesium but won't enhance absorption. Magnesium is best absorbed on an empty stomach ; b vits can cause stomach upset on empty stomach. B vits, esp. B6, often work in synergy with mag. The best-absorbed forms of mag. Are glycinate ; taurate; citrate is ok too. Epsom salt baths ; topical "magnesium oil" are also good ways to get magnesium into you.
