Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex. 
Get HPV vaccine, if you are under 27 years of age.

There's no magic: A sensible diet is heavy on the fruits, vegetables and grains that you like and tolerate well. Getting enough quality protein is important but the actual source isn't. If you are not a meat-eater, get with your physician about supplementing iron, and generally if your diet is fairly limited for whatever reason, an economical supplement is worth considering. Avoid the greasy, sugars, ; salty stuff.

Vit D2 vs D3: Great question. A meta analysis and detailed review of studies published on this subject was presented in the Am Jour Clin Nutrition in 2012. !!! Conclusion, Vit D3 is superior to Vit D2 in raising serum Vit D levels.

Some people do that: Some patients get prescribed 50,000 units a week for a month or two, to rapidly build up their bodily stores of vitamin D. The 50,000 unit tablet looks like a huge chewable old-style SweetTarts candy (the pediatric size is 14,000 units). However, one can take a smaller pill more often, or for a longer time. For example, taking 2,000 units 3 times a day for a week is 42,000 units per week.

Ok to miss one week: There would be no harm if you stopped the medication for one week. This drug is used for the long term treatment of osteoporosis and missing one week would not make a significant difference in you bone mineral density or put you at greater risk for a fracture.

If not triptans are great abortive medication. Ask your doctor for more information.

Not necessarily: Oral medication for osteoporosis (bisphosphonates) all have similar side effect profile. Of course, if you take a medicine only once a month vs. once weekly, the frequency or occurrence of side effects will be less. When taking bisphosphonate, important to take with water, stay upright or active afterwards and not lay down, to minimize most common side effect of reflux symptoms

Yes: I commonly change days by one to two days with my patients. It should not be a problem with your current dose. I would recommend you do this only with the approval of your primary prescribing physician.

Mgt/workup: These levels may change with the dose and time interval to the next dose. Your infusion center will continue to monitor your son's levels. The total IgG is the primary measurement, but if there is concern about the subclasses, I would recommend testing immune cell function.

Depends on…: Whether you take any other meds with which it might interact.
