No Not Safe: You are given sedation before colonoscopy&amp;you are discharged with instructions not to drive as you will still have effect of the seadatives used.If some one can drive you to work&amp;your work involves sit down job only.And some one will drive you home.In that case you may be able to show up at your job.You may still be sleepy&amp; groggy and may not be able to do much.Show your boss discharge instruction

Yes: If you feel fine and had no complication, there is no reason not to go back to work. If you don't want to go back the same day, ok to go back to work the next day.

Next day: You should feel fine after the sedation from medication is gone out of system which occurs in 8-12 hours.

Most people could: The most concerning factor is that you are fully recovered from the anesthesia (typically IV sedation) you are given during the procedure. But most people would be fine to drive the next day. The affects within the bowel--a little discomfort from manipulating the scope and introducing some air--are usually long gone and not an issue within a few hours. Watch for pain, etc, per post-op suggestions.

28 yo clear colonoscopy and endoscopy, and all full blood work that came back normal as well. could pancreatic cancer be causing my low abdomen pain?

Highly unlikely: Put your mind at ease. Pancreatic cancer is rare below age 45. The pain of pancreatic cancer usually is in the pit of the stomach, not the lower abdomen, and radiates around to the sides and/or straight thru to the back. It may be intermittent and made worse by eating or lying supine. It is frequently worse at night. Lying in a curled or fetal position may improve the pain.

what causes pain on right side underneath rib cage and in the back ? it hurts more seating on the back. i am also bloated. all (blood  work, colonoscopy,endoscopy, endoscopic ultrasound, hida ) were normal. found helicobacter pilory and i treat now?

: Musculoskeletal causes for such pain are many times hard to discover and imaging to include spine may help in understanding the origin for the pain. Extending work up also to include kidneys in imaging fields may provide additional information.

Needs colonoscopy:   If you’ve had abdominal pain and other signs of IBS for at least 3 months, you may have it. Hx of Bloody diarrhea, weight losss, nocturnal diarrhea needs to  be investigated for malignancy, celiac disease, IBD..
The researchers did find that 2.5 percent of IBS patients older than 35 had a disease called microscopic colitis, which req. different RX.  In your case Colon may be indicated.

: So far the work up does not suggest or support the diagnosis of ovarian cancer and your symptoms are too non specific. Would suggest focusing on avoiding constipation, fiber, hydration, physical exercise and further investigate upper gi symptoms. Your doc remains your best reference at this point.

Most embryologic development of body is driven by afferent+efferent orders from brain+spinal cord. So who is always &quot;the expert&quot; on all sensations? The person who perceives them, regardless how accurate or distorted the perceptions.
