How much wine??: I am always leery of these questions. People for whom drinking alcohol in some form is so important that when they are placed on a medication or are having a procedure they want to know if it's ok with alcohol.  Not saying there IS a problem, but saying you should at least think about it. 1-2 glasses of wine will not interfere with diflucan (fluconazole) and there are no interactions. Wouldn't recommend more.

Fluconazole and ETOH: Diflucan (fluconazole) is a powerful drug and its effect will remain in the body for 5-7 days. It is better to abstain from drinking alcohol at least for 5 days. The best option is to avoid alcohol for a week.

Meds and alcohol: Do not mix medication and Alcohol.  Diflucan (fluconazole) stays in your system for at least  3 days.

Metabolism: Alcohol is metabolized by the liver. A rare but serious complication of diflucan (fluconazole) is liver damage. Consuming alcohol can potentially raise this possibility and thus it us not recommended to do so

No problem: Alcohol doesn't interfere with fluconazole (Diflucan®). A drink or two won't hurt anything. As I tell my patients, just don't drink so much that you forget to take the pills!

: Unless diabetes is present, there are no dietary measures that helps clear up a yeast vaginal infection. Your gynecologist may have to reexam you and, if a yeast infection is still present, try a different dose.or different. antiyeast medication like terconazole vaginal suppository.
