i keep losing ur site after i ask a question n i can't find an answer anywhere (if you've answered me that is) forgive me please! i'll try just one last time why cant you take a laxative if you have a bowel obstruction and are still softeners ok?

Depends on details: A patient with an obstruction needs to work with her primary care doctor and gastroenterologist to see how to eat, drink, and poop. For example, if a person has a complete obstruction, and takes a laxative... where would the poop go? If she is completely blocked... the strongest laxative in the world will just give her the strongest cramps... but where would the poop go? Each person is different!

i have a minimal koch's infection in my right upper lobe, may i ask a question? can i go to work while continuing my medication?

: Even minimal pulmonary (lung) tuberculosis ("Koch's infection") can be a great danger to people in your environment. But if "minimal" means no cavity (an open abscess in the lung), you are not coughing, and are taking your medications, probably you can safely be at work. But check with your doctor first -- or with public health authorities in your city, province or country. Good luck.

can i ask a question? ok i have been having problems like pain in my stomack in very bad cramps in i don't know if im pregnant or not i just had a mp 6 days ago.....

If : If your menstrual period 6 days ago was normal, then it is unlikely you are pregnant.  However, if it was lighter in flow or duration, then you should take a pregnancy test to be certain.  Your cramping could be from other causes.  If a patient had cramping with vomiting, pain, or fever then they should let their physician know of their symptoms.

Advice: Are you experiencing any burning, itching, increased frequency of urination, or pain when urinating? If so then I recommend that you see your primary care doctor in order to have a urine screen and vaginal swab.  Are you currently sexually active? Do you use protection? This can sometimes increase the risk of obtaining an STD.

good day! can i ask a question i have a niece that have g6pd difficiency,what milk is the best for her? we tried already bonna but she is always hard to poop,we also tried nestogen but she always vomiting?

: Babies with G6PD should not be fed formula's containing gluten or soy. Predigested formulas may help to reduce the constipation and stomach upset. As the baby begins solid foods, things like legumes (beans, lentils, peas) should be avoided. Environmental triggers such as mothballs, and medications including aspirin, nitrofurantoin and antimalarials should also be avoided.

You are fine: You will not die from leaving a Mirena (levonorgestrel) in over 5 years. But you are risking much less birth control. So, go get it removed and have a new one put in if you are comfortable with it.
