Not by itself : An enlarged gallbladder by itself is not necessarily concerning unless associated with intermittent bouts of cholecystitis.  High uric acid levels may be associated with gout.

Uric acid symptoms: Many patients have no symptoms of high uric acid (ua) levels. Once they have a gouty attack, symptoms are readily perceived.  People who drink excessively can make their blood more acidotic which can precipitate gouty attacks. It is best to lower your ua as it is increasing be found to be a cardiovascular risk factor. See a physician to see if there are drugs that can lower your serum ua level.

Yes: The fact that you have one kidney and also have gout is a potentially serious combination. You need to be on allopurinol or Uloric to lower the serum uric acid below 6 mg/dl to prevent kidney stones or compromise of function in your one kidney. For you, there is no such thing as mild gout. All gout is serious.

See below: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Having said that, uric acid levels in urine are not meaningful, it is the blood level that counts. A few red cells in urine are not abnormal, and trace may be the same. It would be prudent to discuss the issue with your doctor who ordered the tests.

: Family history and diet are precipitating and predisposing factors and not the cause of gout. Gout is due to an abnormality   where the body lacks the ability to breakdown uric acid . You need to be under treatment of your MD and will probably need medication. But you will be OK.

See details: Have you seen a nephrologist?  You can take this combination but more recent data suggest you should take therapy to normalize the serum uric acid as well.
