i was tested positive for uti, positive for leukocyte, took meds. it went away. i have the same feeling like i have to pee, no burning. could this be herpes? can positive leukocyte mean i have herpes

Unlikely: Uti are common and are different than genital herpes. To diagnose active herpes, lesions must be observed. If you were never diagnosed with herpes, then this is most likely a uti. If an antibiotic doesn't help, go back to the physician who prescribed it. Hope you feel better soon!

hello, im worried about herpes. i got tested for oral & genital herpes 1 day and a half after i received oral from a stranger & kissed him. but now im feeling that my penis itches after i pee until i shower what could it be?

STD's: You can get tested for std's including herpes at a health clinic, planned parenthood clinic(for females), men's wellness clinic(for males) or your physician can order the testing. Itching of the penis is one symptom of a yeast infection and you may have to visit a physician to get diagnosed and treated for this if the a clinic doesn't include this test. Condoms are best protection against std's.

Unlikely: Some viruses, such as the ones that cause herpes and genital warts, can be transmitted through skin to skin contact. There is no transmission of STDs through urine. So, the chance of getting an STD from a shower of urine is next to zero.

just been tested for herpes and currently on an antibiotic. since the herpes started i've been having troubles going to the bathroom. haven't pooped in 2 days and only peed once today. male 18 yrs old?

Constipation: Most antibiotics and antivirals cause diarrhea not constipation. You may be a little dehydrated as you are also having decreased urine output. Recommend increasing fluid and fiber intake. You may also want to take some probiotics.

yeast inf. from amoxicillin lastest 2.5 weeks. also caused burning with urination. is this normal? doc. also tested for herpes b/c red rash present.

Yeast inf. from amox: First, were you treated for yeast infection?  If so vaginal cream or   Diflucam ?
Some women are resistant to normal treatments, and might require extended duration for these medications.Also could be a UTI that keeps irritating the skin.
Another concern is underlying Diabetes ,with pts.taking much longer to rid of infections.
Anemia or immunosuppresion from diseases can affect healing times.

i have herpes but tested negative for hiv/stds.i gave a urine sample while on my period.can i pass herpes through my urine sample whether it had blood or not?do i need to call the hospital& warn them?

No you can not: No you don't have to call the hospital or worry about passing herpes virus as you can not pass herpes like that through blood in the urine.

Depends: You may have pain until the lesions heal.  Your doc can prescribe medication to decrease the duration of an outbreak.

Herpes simplex: This may occur with genital herpes in women. Less often in men.  In neither case is it an absolute occurrence.
