everytime i used the bathroom (#2), when am finish inside my buttocks hurt for like an hour or more. am not sure if its a hernia or what. please help.

Unlikely hernia: Peri-rectal abscess, fissures, hemorrhoids , pilonidal  cysts can, all be nuisances.
Need exam.

i had an open incisional hernia repair three weeks ago. ever since i have numbness in my buttocks and left anterior thigh. is this normal? suggestion?

Hernia: With numbness in your buttocks and thigh after incisional hernia you must contact the doctor who did the surgery.

Could be either: Without a physical examination it is difficult to tell what this could be.  It could be either one.  In fact groin pain is related to the hip many times.  See a physician for examination.  Some tests might be necessary and could include hip x-rays to look for arthritis.

Not usually: But this is common with "sciatica" or nerve root irritation in your low back.  The common complaints of nerve compression syndromes in your low back are pain anywhere from your low back, buttock, thigh, knee, leg and into your foot.  It can be in any of these locations independently as well. Hernias usually dont give you knee and buttock pain.

i coughed very hard while deficating, felt a pop inside me.now lots of pain and pressure 3 inches above my rectum. i feel lumps under my skin putting painful pressure on my upper buttock. is this a hernia?

Rectal : Rectal hernias are very rare. They are often confused with hemorrhoids. Rectal prolapse is a possibility (rectum protruding through the anus). Regardless. You need to see your doctor right away for an evaluation. If you still have the pain and pressure and you are unable to see your doctor present to your local urgent care or er.

Usually, surgeons interested in a disease, read journal articles about the disease,  and attend conferences about the disease are the most up to date regarding treatment options for hernia. First make sure: you need surgery for diastasis of rectus muscle , fees  for procedure and amount insurance company allows is variable from location to location insurance policy to policy  . Speak to your family doctor will help you by referring to right surgeon , then find out .

is it ok to do pushup s and bodyweight exercise es with an ing uinal  hernia?

Probably: You will have less bulging if keeping your hips straight rather than bent.  Pushups will give you the least trouble and bench-pressing is better than free-weight lifting.  In general, if your activity doesn't cause bulging, it is ok.  You can still get a sudden bulge and strangulation of the hernia at any time, especially if the hernia is bulging at rest.

Review with MD: If fat or other tissue is trapped, the ch pieces are surgical correction or nerve blockade.  Because of your other medical problems, you need to review your options with   your primary physician
