i'm a female 33 5'7 213 i have a few health issues. none that should link to random bruising on my arm. hemoglobin is over 1700. what could it be?

Hypoxia: Given the information you provided, you likely have  obstructive sleep apnea and your body is experiencing hypoxia at night. The best solution would be to lose weight, not an easy thing. Please consult your doctor for a sleep test and possible use of cpap/bipap at night.

rbc 4.89 - hemoglobin 13.5 - hematocrit 40.6% - iron 26 ug/dl - tibc 348 - iron saturation 7% 43 y/o female extreme fatigue arms and legs feel heavy sometimes presyncope symptoms. pcp scheduled iron infusion next week. could this all be from low iron?

: Your hemoglobin is not low enough for you to have any symptoms from iron deficiency. Drink enough water daily so that your urine is mostly colorless in case your symptoms are due to dehydration.

can  a surgery be done with 5 of hemoglobin?  what alternatives are there to operate considering  there are two tumors with hemmorraghe?

Blood tx prior surg: You should get blood transfusion to increase your hemoglobin in a safer level. Surgery can be done- however we try to minimize the possible complication as much as possible. If the tumors are actively bleeding, multiple blood transfusion need to be given before, during and perhaps after surgery. But, yes the best thing to correct the anemia in this case is by stopping the bleeding.

should i postpone the surgery if my hemoglobin level is low?

Ask your doctor: Depends upon: 1) how elective is the surgery, 2) the degree of anemia 3) are you bleeding - and will the surgery correct the bleeding, 4) your overall health, 5) the nature and complexity of the surgery, 6) the likelihood that delaying surgery will increase your blood count.

Anemia: Ferrous sulfate 325mg three times daily. Note may upset stomach better to take with food. Also can cause constipation.
