Probably both: Diabetes can make you more susceptible to thrush, however, this may be exacerbated if you are also taking antibiotics for H.Pylori infection. It is best to keep your blood sugars under good control to avoid recurring thrush. Though thrush is not considered a sexually transmitted disease, it is best to avoid intercourse during this time, as you may be uncomfortable and partner may notice symptoms.

Gastritis can be caused by irritation due to H. Pylori, use of Aspirin, Paracetamol , NSAID,  Stress, excessive Alcohol use,  Pernicious anemia, Bile reflux,  or Infections caused by bacteria and viruses.

Can tell by endo....: Endoscopy provides a means for your doctor to visualize the stomach and to get biopsies from which H. Pylori can be identified.

What treatment?: What was the treatment? Who prescribed it? How did the treatment fail if symptoms resolved? It would be prudent to discuss the matter with your doctor rather medicating yourself.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex.

Not H. Pylori: You describe paresthesia and numbness of the distal extremities. Such stocking / glove distribution may be related to:
diabetes
alcohol use
b12 deficiency
syphilis
hiv
lyme disease
uremia
chemotherapy
vasculitis
cancers
amyloidosis

often, no cause is found.  But h pylori is not on the list.
