Yes and no...: You can eat whatever you want!  But there are many foods that can increase the chance of a gout flair (here's a good list: https://www.goutdiet.org/foods-to-avoid.php).  Dried beans put you at risk for more flairs.

Gout: It is very typical for gout attacks to be episodic.  What we do find if the uric acid levels are not controlled is the attacks coming more and more frequently over time.

Potentially several: Many rheumatologists used to think that diet can be a significant contributor to gout flares, but i think many (including me) are changing our minds. Working through the math, the purine load from food is not that much. Thus, diet change may not help that much.

: Yes, you can eat moderate portion of catfish. Most animal proteins contains purine/uric acid at different quantities so you can't avoid them all. Catfish does not contain high purine/uric acid whereas salmon is a good source of omega-3 but contains high purine/uric acid.

Yes: I am not quite sure what the rabe means   but as far as broccoli is concerned that should not be a problem 

re gout it is organ meats / meat in general  and beans that seem to stir things up   lentals  are ok

diet control for gout is a bit challenging but mostly means limiting the above  food 
articles and checking the uric acid levels
broccolirabe is realted to turnips you eat the greens.
