Maybe: It will help to keep your mouth and throat clean and potentially help with the pain.  It also may help to draw some of the fluid from the vesicles. There is no proven benefit in any clinical trials, but it is unlikely to be harmful. Children less than 8 are likely to be unable to gargle. The combination is 1/2 tsp salt per 8 ounces of water. All the best.

Mine pop out...: Usually after they get to a certain size of with a big sneeze.  I haven't had then for a while, but mine never "shrunk."  If it works for you, keep going with it.

No, it could help.: Gargling with salt water shouldn't aggravate acid reflux.  It could actually help by alleviating some of the inflammation in the the back of the throat and mouth that is brought on when acid travels up from the stomach.  Happy gargling!  cheers!

Yes: Tonsil "stones" are concretions of microscopic food particles, sloughing mucosa cells from the lining of the oral cavity, and bacteria (usually in the form of "biofilm"). Anything that causes them to be dislodged will help keep those pits in the tonsil clear. I have even known some patients who use a "water pik" to keep their tonsils clear of stones.

: What exactly are you trying to accomplish? If it's better oral hygiene, brush vigorously for two minutes and floss between all your teeth. Mouthwash and salt water is not a substitute.

Order: Floss first brush seconed rinse last. You do not need to rinse with salt water and over the counter mouth wash both. One or the other is enough. I personally prefer warm salt water.

right tonsil is painful when swallow. gargling with salt water reduced pain but there is a single tiny white spot present on tonsil that when removed seemed soft like plaque. the tiny white spot came back after 2 days.
is it just an infection?

Can call Dr on video: Throat pain can be from a strep throat infection (antibiotics needed), a cold or influenza (antibiotics usually not used), or from some other cause such as allergies or irritants. Usually, a person sees the doctor (call first) if the sore throat is bothersome, recurrent, or doesn't go away quickly. COVID-19 infections tend to have cough, whereas strep usually lacks cough but has more throat pain.
