Avoid trigger: Currently the only treatment for food allergies is avoidance of the particular food.  For an accidental exposure that is mild, an antihistamine may work.  For more severe food allergic reactions, Epinephrine is used.  If stomach pain is the only symptom, see an allergist who can help distinguish allergy from intolerance.

Allergist: Are you being evaluated and treated by an allergist? Hive like reactions or angioedema can also occur in the intestinal tract and I suspect that this is what causes your abdominal distress. The cause of your allergic reactions can be very elusive and a skilled allergist is best to help you find a cause. Keep a diary of what you eat to see if there's a common denominator. Atarax may be effective.

7 years?: I think you should consult a GI doctor who may or may not refer you to an allergist depending on his findings. 7 years are a long time to suffer.  As for the low-grade temperature, how low grade has it been?

Pain after eating: Severe stomach pain after eating can be related to a few issues: gall bladder illness (esp if pain radiates from upper right abdomen to your back on right side), spasm (ibs), anxiety, unidentified, new food intollerance (e.g. Gluten) that can develop in association with stress. Start a journal documenting exactly: dietary intake, location and type of pain, any improvement or worsening. Take to md.

See allergist.: See an allergist, a specalist in allergies and immunology. If you have already seen one, consider a second opinion from another doctor either a second allergist or a gastroenterologist.

Accepted Answer

It can: Food allergies can cause bloating of the stomach but usually the symptoms are hives, itching, vomiting, diarrhea and/or worsening eczema.  If symptoms are just bloating, then food intolerance reactions should also be considered.  A GI doctor or allergist can help a person distinguish between the two.

How long?: How long have you had this problem and how long does each bump stays around?  If the problem cannot be controlled with antihistamine or lasts more than 8 weeks , consider seeing an allergist.  Does heat, stress, or exercise trigger it?   If so , it may just be a condition known as cholinergic urticaria. Tell us more about your condition.

Gastroenteritis: Either reaction to something in your food (toxins produced by staph, bacillus cereus, clostridium perfringens, etc.), or a viral etiology. In any event this should clear up within 3-5 days under most circumstances. If this recurs repeatedly you should see a GI doctor. Good luck.

Yes: Most adult food allergies are to nuts and sea foods.
In my experience running a panel for food allergy is misleading at best when it comes to IBS unless you have a specific food that reliably causes symptoms every time.  It is possible to develop lactose intolerance and gluten sensitivity.  I have included info regarding these.  Best of luck.

Avoid trigger: Avoid the trigger of the allergy, reduce exposure and take an antihistamine. If the pain worsens or is associated with vomiting, diarrhea or rash, please see your physician. There are some food allergens which have cross reaction with other allergens. Discuss having allergy testing for both enivornmental and food allergies with your physician.
