You should get chest X-rays also to make sure there isn't something involving your lungs, and pulmonary function tests. Do you wheeze at all or is it associated with eating anything? Chest pain: For peace of mind consult a cardiologist for an evaluation and appropriate testing. If your symptoms are then thought to be due to stress and anxiety, I believe stress management therapy would be beneficial. If depression is a concern, I recommend consulting a psychiatrist as you shouldn't try to fight through it on your own as it can spiral out of control.

Hard to tell: Complex issues or vague symptoms always are easier to evaluate when a patient writes down his symptoms in a calendar diary, and then shows the diary (ongoing record) to his primary care doctor at follow-up visits. In the end, symptoms may turn out due to depression or anxiety... but that should not lead his doctor to not do some exams, some interviewing, and occasional tests or x-rays.

Yes. : Anxiety can cause panic attacks where you feel like you are having a heart attack. Others just get the feeling they can’t breathe. I know a few people who faint during their anxiety atttacks and have had many normal ECGs and ER visits. You should see a therapist and consider medication for your anxiety.

True with risk: unfortunately testosterone replacement therapy has received a bad rep for increased risk to heart disease. Unless your levels are below guideline, then replacement therapy should be with caution.  i would recommend exercise and weight loss for improved outcome instead.

When it happens: Angina means heart pain which is much much more likely to occur in older people and during physical exertion while panic attacks are often random, or due to some specific trigger such as supermarket/closed space likely elevator etc...During a panic attack, the symptoms are quite like angina. Being 24 and had work-up without cardiac involvement, panic is likely. Consult doc for treatment. Good luck.
