Yes: Clomiphene is a stimulant to the ovaries.  It raises the FSH levels and triggers development of follicles.  The ovaries enlarge as the follicle develops.  Some women produce a large number of folicles, adding to the stretching sensation.  Most of the time these symptoms are minimal, but on occasion can be quite uncomfortable.  Almost always the symptoms are short-lived.

Absolutely: The lh surge on Clomid (clomiphene) is wider and taller than the natural lh surge. You may want to keep testing until it goes negative (that could be a few days). The actual peak is somewhere in the middle of those days. Good luck!

Yes: Clomid (clomiphene) induces your body to produce more cysts than you would otherwise produce and for those cysts to release their eggs (ovulation) to increase the likelihood of conceiving. Occasionally Clomid (clomiphene) can cause large cysts or too many cysts, and a dangerous complication called ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome, but this is rare.

Quality of ovulation: I believe that the end of the questions says that the home pregnancy test may be low. There are differences in the quality of ovulation. At times when Progesterone levels are low even though it indicates ovulation the quality of the ovulation may not be optimal. Spotting after the mid luteal phase indicates that the Progesterone levels may not be high enough to support the endometrial lining. Please follow up with your home pregnancy tests by obtaining an office beta hcg.

Late period: If you need Clomid (clomiphene) in order to ovulate it also very likely that you have had irregulr periods in the past. Clomid (clomiphene) does not work every time on every patient. Best advice is to schedule a follow up with the doctor who prescribed the clomid (clomiphene).

Ovulation : If your ovulation predictor kit showed that you ovulated then you ovulated. If the pain resolves that i would not overthink it. Just check a pregnancy test if you miss your cycle.
