my veins in my arm hurt after i've been cold. why does this happen?

There : Must be a misunderstanding of terminology. 
Veins, and I have no idea what you may call veins, do not hurt. Even when there is a blood clot in them it is the surrounding inflamed tissue(s) that hurt and not the vein itself. In the leg bulging veins may hurt but is distension of the skin that is painful. So I do not have a satisfying response for u. Sorry!

i had lateral epicondylar release with tendon repair 7 months ago & when my arm get cold it hurts until i get it warmed up. is that normal?

Unusual but possible: Tennis elbow surgery – lateral epicondylitis release and repair, is commonly associated with a protracted time to recover. At seven months though, i would expect most soft tissue changes from surgery to have recovered and remodeled. Pain associated with hypothermia suggests relative poor circulation to the tissue that improves with heat and revascularization; frictional rubbing helps with both.

pain in my shoulder neck area and it gets so intense i lose most control of my arm, also my hands turn white and itch and hurt when it's cold. 21 fem?

Neck pain: It's possible that there is impingement on a nerve root in your neck from a disc or spur in the vertebral area. There also may be associated vasospasm(spasm of a blood vessel) as a reflex or by actual impingement. This could explain the hand symptoms. Since you're having so much distress, I recommend that you consult a neurologist for evaluation. Appropriate tests and or referral will be done

last year after flu shot my arm hurt where the injection was. last few mths it has gotten worse where i cant lift/rotate without pain. had clicking noises for a while, now just pain & limited movement mostly at night/cold. what could it be?

: I am sorry to hear that but the flu shot and your shoulder pain are unrelated.
Most people have sore deltoid area after the flu shot but chronic shoulder pain is not a known adverse effect.
It seems you may have a rotator cuff injury (more common) or a different shoulder problem. You should see your doctor for advice. Conservative treatment with med and physical therapy will ease the pain.

hi my left arm feels cold . and hurts abit was diagnosed with shingles over a week a go but that never happend. had ecg  was clear?

Atypical: Your symptoms are atypical for angina and you are young. Shingles usually burns and is painful. Still shingle can have many features and symptoms. You dont even have to see a rash to be diagnosed with it. Other causes could be vasospasm or blocked arteries to arm. Pinched nerves as well. Go back for follow up and see if more testing is needed to sort things out.

Be seen: Pain in one limb is often a musculoskeletal problem, and yours sounds like it is too.  Except for involving both the arm and the leg, which is unusual.  Be seen for a diagnosis.

having rib area pain after cold symptoms, now just cough. it's right side under arm pit rib area pain, hurts to lay down or sit up straight up.

Pain from coughing: Hi michelle,it is likely that you have pulled one of the small(but important)muscles in between your ribs(intercostal muscles). This can happen after a coughing illness. It goes away with time but it takes awhile as that muscle rarely gets a rest(used for breathing). Other concerns would be inflammation of the lining of the lungs(pleuritis). Ibuprofen or tylenol (acetaminophen) can be helpful for pain.

i've quit methadone cold turkey 38 days ago from 30mg. i feel pretty good now except for my legs arm still hurt and feel restless. i's this normal?

Yes: Methadone stays in your system for extended time - especially if u r on it for a long time prior.  You are thru the worst of it - good job!

Concerning.: The variety of symptoms you describe (arms/legs cold and numb, with back pain) can signify many different conditions, some more serious than others.  We don't have enough info to say if this is an urgent matter or not, but at the very least if these symptoms have come on suddenly and are new, you should take this very seriously.
