i have anemia and get really bad headaches. can that be the reason for the headaches? what can i do to relieve the pain?

Yes.: Severe anemia can be associated with headaches.  The most important issue is identifying the cause of the anemia and correcting it.  If anemia is the cause of the headaches, proper treatment will take care of them.  The most common cause ina premenopausal female is iron deficiency.  If that is the situation, you have taken iron, and are not improving, you need to see a hematologist and/or ob-gyn.

90 days +: It takes 90 days for the body to manufacture one mature red blood cell from the bone marrow and get it into circulation. If your blood loss was very severe, it may take longer and oral daily iron supplementation is essential.

Headahce: A definite possibility. Nausea not so much. Are you on iron for your anemia? This commonly causes GI upest.

Worrysome: Persistent fever longer than 3 weeks is worrisome and requires a more vigorous search for the cause.
You should seek consultation with a Infectious Disease(ID) consultant who will check into causes of Fever:Infections like TB, Malaria, Cancer or other inflammatory conditions.
A spinal tap is indicated if the Headache is more than mild. The child should be in the hospital if the temp is &gt;100 degree

Possible: More history is needed to correctly diagnose the problem. Atypical lymphocytosis is typical in patients with mononucleosis, pertussis (whooping cough) that is epidemic in wa state now. You need a more comprehensive work up at this time.

Several things: I question why you are anemic?  Do you have excess uterine bleeding causing this?  That's most common in women.   Headache can just be from the low hormones that normally occur around this time.  Should probably talk to your gyn about the anemia.

Not usual cause: If anemia became quite severe, possible that delivery of oxygen to brain would fall, prompting auto-regulation to dilate blood vessels as a response and that might cause a headache reaction.  Typically, mild anemia does not cause headaches.  Migraine itself far more common, and perhaps reason for your question.
