Sugars: if you are having an infection the infection itself is what's increasing your sugars, taking the azithromycin should get rid of the infection and slowly your sugars should start to come down.

Azithromycin: Without knowing what you were treated for and why it is impossible to answer the question. If you do not have symptoms it may not be necessary to be retested, but again you have not given a clue as to why you were given what is considered a lengthy course of azithromycin. Good luck.

Your body: will slowly metabolize(liver) and excrete it(in your feces and urine) over time.  Though realize it has a long half life so it will take time.  But also realize you may also be feeling worse due to your underlying illness and the progression may happen to have just coincided with starting the azithromycin.  I wouldn't hesitate to contact your doctor if you continue to feel worse.  Best of luck

: Why are you taking this? Has it been prescribed? Please do not take azithromycin without a prescription from a doctor who is treating you for infection. Don't wait : If you're still having symptoms, you likely still are infected, which does happen sometimes. That why we'll talk about "testing for a cure." You may need another test and another round if antibiotics. See you doc right away.

I am not sure exactly what you are asking.  It is safe to take azithromycin while pregnant. At any rate, it would be out of your system in one week.   Any antibiotic can interfere with the effectiveness of birth control pills, I recommend using a barrier method like a condom to prevent pregnancy while taking antibiotics.

Try cover taste: I like peanut butter as a dominant cover taste that most kids will except. The dose can be folded into a dab of pb and fed on a cracker, covers almost any taste. Some of my parents have a compounding pharmacy add other special flavorings.

Upset stomach: Azithromycin can cause  gastrointestinal upset in many people, so it's not a good idea to add alcohol to the mix.
