Yes: Hi Beverly, I am not sure exactly what you are asking. It is safe to take azithromycin while pregnant. At any rate, it would be out of your system in one week. Any antibiotic can interfere with the effectiveness of birth control pills, I recommend using a barrier method like a condom to prevent pregnancy while taking antibiotics.
