Why are you taking this? Has it been prescribed? Please do not take azithromycin without a prescription from a doctor who is treating you for infection. Consuming high doses of azithromycin improperly can be very dangerous. Please book a telemedicine visit to discuss more if you do not have a regular doctor who can see you in person.

It will taste very bitter but will work just fine. Just be sure you swallow the full dose within about 30 minutes. (One condition accounts for almost all treatment with 1 gram [1000 mg] azithromycin in a single dose. You don't need to tell us what it is!)
