Does double vision: Remain when on eye is closed? If so the either an astigmatism or surface eye dryness can be the cause. If  the double vision goes away when one eye. Is closed you will have to see an ophthalmologist to evaluate this.

Eye Alignment: Double vision - when present with both eyes open is caused by eye misalignment.  Astigmatism is a corneal or lens irregularity in focus and can present with a ghost image (double) with either eye open.  Also, cataract can cause astigmatism and double vision with either eye open.  It is very imporant to distinguish between single and both eyed double vision.

It would be prudent to see your doctor and discuss if you may be depressed. Counter-intuitive as it may seem, exercise may help. : Refractive errors are not the only causes of monocular diplopia. Catatacts, corneal issues and retinal diseases affecting the macula can also do so. You should be evaluated by an ophthalmologist if glasses to correct your refractive errors do not resolve the diplopia.
