Possibly: It is better to see a dr. And get the throat swabbed to determine what kind of bacteria or other infection, if at all, you are suffering.  To take the antibiotic may do nothing, help or mask what you really have.  Don't take chances.

The most: common cause of a sore throat along with a fever is a VIRAL upper respiratory illness which will NOT respond to an antibiotic. If you have a bacterial infection of your throat (Streptococcal or Pneumococcal) an antibiotic may be effective! It is best NOT to use antibiotics without a health professional's input!

hi,2 weeks ago i had a sore throat and used coamoxiclav 3time/day(for 6 days) and 2 days after end of antibiotic cycle i have a soe throat again on one side while swallowing and i should mention the pain is mild(3/10) what should i do? thank you?

: With a throat infection, there is typically swelling of the tonsils and of the paratonsilar lymph nodes. the "something" you feel near your adam's apple may be either of these. The swelling may be most noticeable when you try to swallow or talk, depending on the extent of the inflammation.

Not uncommon: Infections can certainly cause generalized fatigue and malaise, and just one day of the antibiotics will not get you feeling better that soon. Rest and drink plenty of fluids. If you get worse and not slowly better, than follow-up with the Dr. Best wishes.
