Acid reflux can present as heartburn, sourness in the back of your throat, or even a persistent cough. Either way, both are recommended to be evaluated by your pcp for underlying conditions. i have ibd, taking pentasa4g/day.also acid reflux caused vocal inflamation a month ago,still on strict diet and meds.still tired vocals.any advise?thx

Stop aspirin: If you are avoiding acids, taking nexium (esomeprazole) and Zantac and not eating or drinking for three hours prior to going to bed then you need to stop the aspirin as well.

See a doctor: Your symptoms are somewhat vague however they are not suggestive of esophageal reflux. You should see your doctor for further evaluation to determine the cause of your symptoms.

GERD: GERD can cause headaches and sinusitis as acid refluxes into the head especially when we sleep. Elevate head of bed with pillow between box spring and mattress Try OTC ranitidine / prevecid  Check for H pylori a bacteria associated  with gastritis.Check TSH/T4 . Avoid alcohol smoking, aspirin , NSAIDS( ibuprofen meds) , spicy fatty foods ,caffeine as that all worsens GERD.f/u/ w/doc

Are you taking: a proton pump inhibitor (eg: PRILOSEC)

This can cause DIARRHEA

Def. possible: its possible. Fatigue and hair loss could be hypothyroidism. Those symptoms are however non-specific. If you are concerned then make an appointment with your primary care doctor. They will be be able to evaluate that for you.

Try rib belt: For costochondritis! the GI problem needs a work up- were you checked for ulcer disease?--see your pcp.
