whenever im stressed or something doesn't go right , i will freek out cry, and then bang my head on things or bite myself why? some nights ill fall asleep crying for no reason, and then wake up happy untill something else happens. but its almost a pshycot

Cranky: Yor baby is probably teething. You can give him Ibuprofen before bed to help him sleep. Also give him cold things to eat like a frozen bagel half for him to nibble on. He can also suck on a cold damp cloth. As a last resort you can get oragel to put on his gums.

can washing newborns head with water that is too hot (causing loud crying) cause brain damage?

No: The brain is quite well insulated against any such external force. You could get a scalp burn if it were really hot, but that would be the extent of the risk. Many newborns just cry because they don't understand what washing is all about. You spend 9 months floating in a pond &amp; then get flushed out into a strange world. The new experience would trouble you.

Possible!: Up to 20% of people can can have nausea &amp;vomiting and that alone could cause the high blood pressure as part of the stress reaction. I don't know if you took your blood pressure, but symptoms of headache or migraine may also occur. Although it can happen high BP itself is very uncommon, though. Call prescribing doc immed. Try 1/2 strength Gatoraide. If not able to take fluid go to ER.

Baby with temp: If Acetaminophen (tylenol) does not help your baby's crying, she might have an ear or throat infection with her runny nose. She needs to be checked by a doctor to be sure she doesn't have something more serious than a cold. Her temp is not very high, but it is high enough to make the baby fussy and headachey, and the nasal congestion may be making it hard for her to sleep.

my son tested pos for strep. he's not congested but keeps randomly crying and pointing at his nose dr looked said nothing was in there. why?

Use Saline Nose Drop: It is well known that children can' t localize pain, especially at the age of 1 y. He may be having a sore throat but pointing to his nose. It is also possible that he has a nasal congestion, even though the Doctor saw nothing when he was examined. Nasal congestion can be intermittent. Usually worse at night. Apply Saline Nose drop into his nose while in discomfort and that will clear any problem

See your doctor: I'm concerned because you say he's not eating much.  Infants can become dehydrated easily-discuss the specifics with your doctor.  It might be a cold, ear infection, rsv, pneumonia, etc.  Talk with your doctor today.
