Yes: Successful dieting requires that a person stick to a plan for months or years, so easier goals & small milestones are good. He must be happy with the foods he gets to eat, so severe calorie restriction is usually unsuccessful. One can cut back on calories enough to lose 1-2 pounds a week, and he will be more likely to stay with that modest type of plan. One-two pounds a week is 50-100 pounds/year!

This definitely: qualifies as a "yes" response to "Have you had any change in bowel habits?" and in an individual, male or female, your age should trigger a colon examination ... Exact opposite: It will do exactly the opposite and lead to more weight gain, not loss. Extra calories at any time of day (or nite) just make it more difficult to lose weight. Exercise before bedtime may make you sleep better and burn up extra calories as well. Good luck.

Maybe: Frequent small meals are good, but if that often, they need to be really small. It is all a matter of calories in/calories out. Try an app, like loseit! to track it.   It really works!

Lets stomach shrink: When we eat a large meal, the stomach (organ) gets stretched out, and then the next time we eat, it takes a lot more food to make us feel full. On the other hand, if we eat small portions, the stomach starts to shrink, and we start to feel fuller after eating a smaller amount. This is why eating small meals, even more often in order to keep up energy, helps us lose weight.

I'd think not: Especially if you mean a small amount - like a 1/4 -1/3 of a cup? 
This should not be a problem, but yoiu might try to find unsalted or lightly salted ones - the salt can be a bad thing for dieting. Good luck.

First point is true: "One must consume less calories than they burn" or else one will not lose any weight. Even if one is eating apparently small amounts of food, and moving a lot, the laws of nature do not change... meaning there will not be weight loss until the number of calories absorbed into one's body is less than the number of calories burned each day. This is always true for normal, healthy people.

Get checked: You need to get checked by your doctor. Lymphoma is a consideration only if the lymph nodes are over 1 cm in size  and are progressively increasing in size. Weight loss can be a sign of cancer but only as a late feature. There are other causes for weight loss. So you need to have a medical examination to help you sort it out.

is there something to promote weight loss by blocking absorption in the small intestine?

White Kidney: bean is used as the basis of a product used to block absorption but I don't recommend it, especially as the only factor used.  Please think holistically, see your doctor before choosing any weight loss program, and ask about a low carb higher protein food plan.  Peace and good health.

Sounds like: lymphadenopathy and certainly consistent with matted lymph nodes. Requires direct observation, examination and possible lymph node biopsy.
