No: The brain injury only happens at the time of injury.  Symptoms can persist like headaches, dizziness, balance issues, memory problems, attentional issues.  If any of these issues are persisting, then get a neurological evaluation and possible neuropsychological testing.

Postconcussive HA: Your headache may be what is referred to as part of a postconcussive syndrome. Or post dramatic headache. The good news is these headaches are generally self-limited which means they tend to go away on their own. The bad news, it can take time. A good neurologist or headache specialist is well-versed in treating these types of headaches. Seek one out and they should be able to help you.

: It is felt that a brain heals itself after a traumatic injury by forming new connections among brain cells and pathways over a period of months. Are you concerned about traumatic encephalopathy and some cognitive loss? If so consult a neurologist for evaluation and advice and, most importantly, reassurance.

i am wondering if i may have multiple sclerosis? my symptoms are spinal pain up and down the spine, temporay paralysis, at times sharp pains on the right side of my brain.

Not necessarily: The pain up and down spine might signify a lhermitte's but usually electrical tingling rather than full blown pain.  The paralysis of ms is usually gradual and progressive over days or longer, and the pains over head may be more consistent with migraines, and perhaps some of the other symptoms associated with this also.. Could consider fibromyalgia.  Long and short, see your doctor, get diagnosis.

does a pericallosal lesion in the brain point towards multiple sclerosis? i had an mri and there is a 7mm oval lesion on the left side...thank you

McDonald criteria: There are specific criteria for diagnosing MS based on MRI. They also take into account your clinical history.
