Accepted Answer

That depends on the: Provider. I continue to see my patients after they have returned from a psychiatric admission.  A provider might elect not to continue seeing the patient if they didn't believe that the  services they provided were adequate to treat the patient safely.

Question: It is best to ask the writer of the letter what they mean when their meaning is not clear. Those letters could have lots of interpretations.

Check progress/meds: During hospitalization, many medications are started or doses adjusted to get you through the acute illness and manage your chronic illnesses for the first few days at home after hospitalization. These medicines and doses may be more optimal for you now but they may not. Your doctor needs to check on the progress of your illness as well as the effects of your medicines.

Results of x-rays: It always a good idea to make sure that the tests you had are normal.  Hopefully, you can simply call the doctor or clinic where you were seen and hear the results over the phone. Feel better soon!

hello doctor, i have tuberculosis on my rt epididimo and rt testicle. is it contagious and spreadable i mean am i harmful to others? i have done exploration of testis from renowned hospital.

TB treatment: TB can start in the lungs and spread to other organs or it can skip the lungs and spread to other organs.  If you have had TB treatment you are not infectious.  TB is usually an airborne infection and If your TB did not effect your lungs you would also be less likely to be infectious to others unless you had very close contact.

hi doc. for a few days now i realize my discharge have change color from white starchy and today it got watery and brown  with a slight red string and i saw my periods for the month already what is this and do it need to go to the hospital immediately?

Need evaluation: but probably not emergently.  You should be tested for sexually transmitted diseases if you have ever been sexually active.  Don't delay being checked out more than a few days.  Seeing your regular doctor or going to a health department or clinic, that would probably be the best option.  You probably don't need to be in the hospital, but you may need to take some medication.

hello doctors,had skin graft 2 weeks ago due to open wound on my leg and i have been discharged from the hospital. my question is, can i move around the house with my crutches or should i just stay in bed all through the day till my next appointment?

: You should contact surgeon for appropriate information. Should be no harm in using crutches

Allergic?: Allergic conjunctivitis is not contagious - avoid the allergen and use an antihistamine.  

How do you know you have allergic conjunctivitis ?  If you have not seen your doctor you should.
