Skin infection: This sounds like a skin infection which is common in that area of the head. Don't scratch or peel the skin eruptions. Clean it with soap and water, apply   Some antiseptic cream on it (no hydrocortisone !) and see your PCP soon. This infection can be very resistant and can rapidly spread.

Exam needed: The original lump was most likely a blood collection(hematoma)under the skin of the scalp. It receded but now the new swelling could indicate rebleeding, infection, new ingrown hair or cyst. Since it's painful or tender, it should  be evaluated and treated by a physician. Apply warm moist compresses until you are examined.

Get help fast: Most probable cause is your Meth Addiction.  You need to first get help for your addiction, that means a Mental Health Professional.  Once addiction conquered, you then see a Dentist to clean up the physical damage.  The meth will kill you.  The smoking will kill you. GET HELP!  Time for intervention.

9irritation: Without a photo, impossible to diagnose; however, son must be checked for a scalp or hair follicle inflammation or unfection.

i have molluscum bumps on my penis head and now i'm applying salicylic acid 3% on them for healing and now there is no bumps seeing only redish or pinkish spots seen on penis head.is't can they come back again when i stop applying medicine on them?

: I do not think salicylic 3% is strong enough for eradicating molluscum lesions. In general, if the lesions are destroyed by cryotherapy, curettage or topical agent, they won't return after you stop the treatment. In immunocompetent patients, individual lesions usually spontaneously resolve within two months and the infection often clears completely within six to twelve months.

Skin infection?: This needs to be examined in order to be successfully diagnosed. Stop squeezing these. Could be dangerous by spreading infection. Go show these to your PCP.

my 1 month old has heat bumps that makes his skin dry and peels; particularly his face and neck. what can i do to stop it and how long will it take for the pigmentation in his skin to come back?

: At this age, the baby's skin is very delicate. Avoid contact with shampoo and soap. Wash linens and towels in a fragrance free baby detergent. Avoid direct exposure to the elements. Pigmentation may take weeks to normalize. In the meantime, watch for signs of infection such as fever or poor feeding.  Discuss the use of a gentle eczema cream for the face during a virtual visit with Healthtap or PCP
