If : If you are having bothersome symptoms 3 weeks might be too long and i'd ask to move the appointment up o go to the hospital for evaluation.  Otherwise, unless you have been told you have a very aggressive lymphoma like burkitt's, many lymphomas are slow growing and 3 weeks until an appointment could be ok.  I wish you the best.

dermatologic conditions are hard to discuss without seeing them. INfection, second degree burns, etc need specific treatment. Scrapes/mild irritation just maybe a bit of neosporin. Allergic reaction a bit of steroids. and cant say which it is, but allergic would be itchy and scrapes r identifiable; infection may have pus, warmth/red etc.
