Being occupied : Though not pleasant when feeling bad, getting around others helps, being alone, staying stuck in own head makes things worse. Don't know if misery loves company but in this case it needs it.  If having significant withdrawal should see physician for assistance. One reason inpatient rehab is helpful is not too much time to be alone. Some people may go to 5 6 or even more meeting per day at first.

I can't speak for: The people you are asking about. However, it is intrinsically difficult to admit you don't have control over something in your life. It is even more difficult to trust enough to give control over to a higher power.

Moisturizer: Not sure if you mean you have an aa genotype for a specific mutation, or if you are a member of alcoholics anonymous. Either way, using a gentle soap (such as dove) and applying moisturizing lotion after washing should help.

Sickle cell ?'s: If male genotype is normal ("AA") and female is homogenous for sickle cell disease ("SS") , any children will be "sickle cell trait" ("AS")  which is not serious, and is treated if necessary if anemia develops.

Good Match: Genotype AC is called Hemoglobin C trait. People who have it inherit normal hemoglobin called hemoglobin A from one parent and an abnormal hemoglobin called hemoglobin C from the other parent. A person with AC should be healthy, and if somebody like that marries another with AA genotype, half of their children will be AC and half AA. All children should be fine. B+ and O+ are normal blood types.
