Lhermitte's sign: is also called barber's chair sign. The electrical sensation can be quite alarming indeed. A more common cause of this in a 41 year old lady would be a demyelinating disorder 
like MS or Clinically Isolated Syndrome. Other localizing signs and symptoms will help with deciding how to proceed  in the work (MRI of a portion of the spinal cord, brain or both). Other cord issues need to be excluded.

Neck problem: I would be suspicious for neck problem.   Disc, arthritids or vascular obstruction.  Do symptoms change with head movement?

See primary or ENT: It is not uncommon for you to have some hearing disturbance with sinusitis or soon afterwards, but it should not last for long. It is tough to tell exactly what is going on without doing a proper exam. If this persists for more than a few days or is bothersome to you, consider seeing your primary doctor or ENT. Best wishes.

Trapped nerve: I suspect the pinprick sensation is an irritating effect from the trapped nerve you learned of 2 months ago. I assume the trapped nerve was found to be in the neck ("cervical") area. Does the pinprick sensation radiate to an arm or shoulder blade? Has the cause for the trapping been identified? Can this condition disable? Do confirm and follow your treatment plan. Numbness: Numbness is caused by a change in the function of nerves.  There are many types of symptoms like numbness; those that tingle, some that hurt, some feel like pressure or a "thick" sensation, some have a burning heat quality.   Usually with problems in the cervical spine, there tends to be pain associated with the numbness, but not always.  Hope that helps.

The Pleasure center: in YOUR brain is connected to your neck which in turn is connected to your back and triggers what you've heard people talk about as that "warm fuzzy feeling inside."  Personally, when I see a movie with a particularly emotional scene or a parent lamenting over their child with Cancer and break down...I get a tingly sensation in my nose. Strong emotions can provoke funny feelings of all types.

Unusual symptom...: A pediatrician or family doctor can sit down with the 10 year-old and chat, to find out what is meant by a cold sensation. There aren't any cold items inside the body, unless one is drinking cold milk or eating ice cream. So, the doctor will want to know if the sensation is in the skin, which may mean something is irritating the sensory nerves to that area of the skin.
