Unusual symptom...: A pediatrician or family doctor can sit down with the 10 year-old and chat, to find out what is meant by a cold sensation. There aren't any cold items inside the body, unless one is drinking cold milk or eating ice cream. So, the doctor will want to know if the sensation is in the skin, which may mean something is irritating the sensory nerves to that area of the skin.
