Dysuria: If you want to treat dysuria, you need to see a physician and have a urine culture sent off to find out the bacterium that is causing your urinary tract infection (UTI). You will also be prescribed an antibiotic to treat it. If you have repeated UTI's, you should see a urologist to see if you have an obstruction causing these UTI's to recur. Good luck.

Wet dreams R normal: Should not cause burning upon urination. Suggest you get your urine checked in case ot urinary tract infection or std.

One time symptoms?: A healthy college-aged guy who has burning while peeing, only for a couple of days, and then is normal again, but has no reason for the symptoms (no genital trauma, no changes in his urine, not having sex, no sexually transmitted infections, etc...) might be ok. If having sex or having changes in his urine, his doctor can do urine tests, which can include screening for some STD infections.

: Not all urinary tract infections show up on urinalysis. There are numerous causes other than infections for burning with urination include vaginitis urethral or bladder inflammation. General recommendation if these symptoms persist for more than three weeks, consult an OB/GYN for diagnosis, and treatment

Probably not: Sex sometimes triggers urinary tract infection in women. Going directly from anal to vaginal sex can do it, but sometimes vaginal sex alone also can result in UTI. It's not because of infection from the partner, but your own bacteria. He dosn't need treatment. (Unless either of you is at risk for STD, like having other partners recently.) See a doctor for diagnosis and antibiotic treatment.

i got checked at the doctor and got treated for stds its been 2 weeks and i have no discharge or no burning pee but i noticed when i pee in a cup i see something floating in my pee what could this be?

Possibly normal: If you took all of your antibiotic prescriptions &amp; your symptoms are better, what you are seeing could be some mucus particles that can either be normal or a residual from your body dealing with infection .  If there is no pain or blood or fever or rash you probably can wait &amp; see, but call your doctor if anything worsens. Also remember there is no safe sex in this day &amp; age

Non-infectious vaginitis are usually caused by an irritant: vaginal sprays, douches, perfumed soaps, scented detergents and spermicidal products.
