One time symptoms?: A healthy college-aged guy who has burning while peeing, only for a couple of days, and then is normal again, but has no reason for the symptoms (no genital trauma, no changes in his urine, not having sex, no sexually transmitted infections, etc...) might be ok. If having sex or having changes in his urine, his doctor can do urine tests, which can include screening for some STD infections.
