A form of pain..: Different people perceive abnormal sensations differently. Pain fiber stimulation can be experienced as burning, sharp, tingly, itchy, piercing, stabbing, etc  the main point here is that this 50 y/o male is experiencing subjectively a sensation in the genitals. The causes could be many! including psychogenic, diabetic neuropathy, other forms of peripheral neuropathy, prostate problem, herpes, etc.

Aloe: The chemical removal of hair in a sensitive area can cause irritation to that skin.  After first making sure that all of that substance is now rinsed off, consider aloe or other topical skin lotion that you might use for a sunburn.  Sun and chemical injury are treated in a similar fashion after making sure the chemical agent is removed or neutralized.

Hormones likely : The gradual decline in the female hormone Estradiol in the years leading up to menopause is associated with changes in the skin and mucus membranes of the female genital tract. Vaginal dryness, itching, and changes in sensation as well as increased risk for urinary infections are widely experienced symptoms. Consider having your urine tested and ask your doctor if topical estrogen cream could help.

Failed hernia repair: I am going to presume that you had an inguinal hernia repair. It seems that maybe that mesh has loosened and some bowel is coming through.  This is why you have the referred  pain to your groin.  If your skin over the area is normal colored, you should call your PCP ASAP for an appointment.  If the skin is darker than usual or purplish, you should go to the ER.

Contact dermatitis?: Did someone play a prank on you? Capsaicin can cause these symptoms. If someone put it in your underwear, it could cause fire down under, then if you scratch it your hands could be affected, then rub your eye? Did your girlfriend have any symptoms? If so, see your primary doctor. Sometimes people can get allergies to condoms or lubricants, but usually there is a red rash (contact dermatitis).

i think i may have herpes on my genitals i have a smal painless bump on my head of my dick ,no burning when i pee. itching in pubic area. what do you think. i never had sores on my penis or scabs. what do you think??

Need to examine: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. If you have has sex, it could be herpes.  It would be prudent to see a doctor.
