Male, 50, burning in genitals?

A form of pain..: Different people perceive abnormal sensations differently. Pain fiber stimulation can be experienced as burning, sharp, tingly, itchy, piercing, stabbing, etc the main point here is that this 50 y/o male is experiencing subjectively a sensation in the genitals. The causes could be many! including psychogenic, diabetic neuropathy, other forms of peripheral neuropathy, prostate problem, herpes, etc.
