Drink more fluids: There are other questions that need to be answered. Why speech deficit and vision loss?  If this was due to a stroke or other problem, The simple answer is to drink more liquids, especially tepid water and take Mucinex (guaifenesin) DM and an antihistamine to help liquify the mucous and decrease the itch.  If it continues you should see an otolaryngologist to determine if there is a diverticulum

i was exposed to someone on saturday 27 june who tested positive for covid 19 on monday 29 june.
i now have flu like symptoms with a scratchy/burn throat. we have been in isolation since we got the call on monday.
we will be going for a test tomorrow?

COVID 19: Rest, hydration, acetaminophen, decongestant, cough med &amp; nasal saline irrigation may help mild symptoms.  Glad you are in isolation &amp; will be tested tomorrow. Get emergency care for difficulty breathing, blue lips or face or new-onset of confusion.

HIV: If you feel that there is any risk of having been exposed to hiv, either sexually or by needle sharing or other transfer of body tissues or fluids you need to go and be tested.  Always better to be safe than sorry.  The symptoms that you are having are probably not due to acute HIV disease, but there is no way to tell without being tested.

nothing is soothing my acid reflux, have tried tums,pepcid ,probiotics. everything i eat causes acid to come back up and burn throat, and then throat swells. should i go to urgent care or try prilosec first?

: You can try high dose prilosec first, 40 mg, twice a day + anti-reflux measures: do not lie down within 2 hours after a meal and raising the head of your bed with bricks (8-10" higher). If pain is not improved after 2 weeks you need to see a gastroenterologist. If it improves, take prilosec for 2 months and indefinite anti-reflux measures and avoid foods which exacerbate the symptoms.

No: Alcohol can cause a burning sensation in the throat, particularly in high concentration.  The amount of alcohol in a glass of red wine will generally not cause a problem.  However, alcohol consumption can increase gastric reflux and heartburn causing irritation.  Also, overindulgence can lead to mild irritation.

Common: Belching is nothing but bringing out excess air/gas from stomach to mouth, if your stomach is full, some liquid will come out along with it. It is usually not psychogenic.

Better see your doctor: You may very well need evaluation by a gastroenterologist, since omperazole didn't work, other preparations might not work too, a more comprehensive approach is needed, good luck

Possibly: Apple cider vinegar is acidic, so it is entirely possible it could irritate your throat when you swallow it, especially if you swallow it without diluting it with anything else. If your throat is irritated for some reason, then the vinegar will burn more. It is not generally harmful to swallow it in pure form. Many people do this as a part of a dietary regimen to reduce appetite before meals.
