Hard bump: The bump may represent scar tissue from previous surgeries.Discuss problem with your surgeon.

Post op appendectomy: If the 'bump' is not red,  painful or oozing fluid then its probably just some scar tissue around a stitch under the skin. Some scarring is normal and usually gets a bit better over time.  Obviously you should go back to the surgeon and have it examined.

Not normal: It would be prudent to contact the surgeon and/or the hospital where you had surgery so that the bumps can be evaluated by in-person examination.

Don't know: I don't know, but I could speculate that it is an incisional hernia with intestine that needs immediate attention by the MD who did the C/section before it gets entrapped and becomes an emergency.

Cystectomy: Sounds normal to me but show to your Dr. who knows you the best.

i had a subtotal gastrectomy around four weeks ago and ive noticed red bumps around my incision that are itchy. any reason why this could be?

Infection/irritation: Either of these could cause some irritation of the skin near the incision. some people are irritated by the ointment, dressing or tape.   Were these there when you had your post op check with your surgeon?  If so did they comment on them.  IF you have not had your post op check you should have one.  If you did have one, maybe you should call and ask them.  Your surgeon should be aware of this.

Recheck: From mechanical irritation/ friction to a local infection, either viral, fungal or bacterial all possible. Rechecking with your doc will be advisable.

i'm 3 months post surgery for complex unruptured aneurysm.  have 4 clips, now i have two painful bumps on skull at incision site.  should i worry?

I have a guess: without an exam, I can only give general information and
dermatologic conditions are hard to discuss without seeing them.
BUT, surgical infections are really really UNlikely to pop up more than a month after the surgery (but would be bad)
and scar tissue grows progressively over the first 2-6 months.(not bad; not fixable)
fever, chills, redness warmth PUS, would be serious.
