I have a guess: without an exam, I can only give general information and dermatologic conditions are hard to discuss without seeing them. BUT, surgical infections are really really UNlikely to pop up more than a month after the surgery (but would be bad) and scar tissue grows progressively over the first 2-6 months.(not bad; not fixable) fever, chills, redness warmth PUS, would be serious.
