Cyst: Might be a ganglion cyst.  They tend to enlarge and give slight discomfort or be painless.  Surgery is an option to remove it if symptomatic but requires a hand surgeon.  See your primary care doctor to start with a good history and physical.

i have had skin colored bumps on my wrist for about a week. and the itch. what could they be. and what could cause them.

Allergic reaction: Itchy bumps on the wrist usually means that you got something on your wrist that you are allergic to.
 You are on prednisone.  This should help them to go away more quickly.  Hydrocotisone 1% cream might help and does not require a prescription. Apply cold water when they are itching and this will usually stop the itchy  you may need a prescription cream.   Rash usually goes away in 6  on its own.

Itchy Bumps: It is hard for me to say without looking.  In general, widesprad, aymmetrical, red and itchy bumps tend to be caused by a virus, rather than an allergy.  They often hang around for a while, and go away without treatment.  If yours have lasted weeks and started to spread, i would advise that you show them to a doctor, since only in that way can you get a definitive diagnosis.

Immune reaction: This can be keratitis pilaris, which is often yeast/mold that is flaring in the hair follicles causing goosebumps/chicken skin. It may also be an allergic reaction to something you came in contact with. If it persists, you should see a dermatologist.

i have a small bump on the inside of my wrist (under skin, above or in a vein?) about 3 cm in diameter.  should i be worried enough to go to the doc?

Not connected: I can't think of any reason why flesh colored lesions around your wrist should be connected to you dizzy spells. There's so many potential causes for those dizzy spells from inner ear disturbance to nutrition and hydration status that you need to look elsewhere for the cause of your dizziness.

Ganglion cyst?: Sometimes a ganglion cyst starts out like that.  These are benign and only need removal if they are really bothering you.  If it grows or causes pain, you need to see your doctor.

Uncertain: How long after eating would you note this reaction since food allergic reaction usually occurs within 2 hours after eating and usually associated with itching. I suspect also that you may have a dry skin issue and suggest that you apply a moisturizer on your skin &lt;3 minutes after bathing and see if this helps.  Does exercise or after a hot shower induce the same reaction? Let's hear from others.
