Evaluation: Watch for pain, difficulty breathing and shortness of breath. From your description a chest radiograph is indicated to rule out a collapsed are of your right lung. Please see urgent care, rest and monitor your temperature. The injury is unlikely to be related to a rib fracture unless there was trauma to the area.

Fodmapa:  bubbling is gas (air) taken in either from swallowing or from fermentation of sugars in the diet. The stomach and large intestine overlap in the vicinity you are referring to. Google  low FODMAP diet ( fermentable Oligo-Di-Monosaccharides and polyols). The most well known is lactose.  Colon bacteria ferment the sugars and create gas and fluid. gas distends the colon (sigmoid) and causes pain.

Also, having the stool sitting in the colon for a long time causes fermentation - the bacteria  and broken down vegetables in the stool produce carbon dioxide, which increases your gassiness.

your GB is out ,so one of the triggered is eliminated, you need to manage your stress, since stress is the most common trigger point to IBS.
you need to identify the food that are causing your problem, you can not keep eating the food the keep bothering you because you like it, and expect medication to take care of the problem.

Crepitus: If you truly feel like there are bubbles under the skin (like you were running your fingers over rice krispies and it snaps,crackles or pops) and you have been vomiting, or had a cough, you need to go to the ER now.  You can rupture the tissue between the lungs and trachea so that air enters under the skin, and this is very serious.  If you mean you just feel soft bubble shaped masses, ask again,
