Go to podiatrist: A podiatrist would be able to examine your feet and determine if the motion in the ball of the foot is creating more pressure at the metatarsals.  If so, there are padding/strapping that can be applied to your foot while training that can help with this.

Pain in pad: This might be the result of high blood sugar levels. 
High blood sugars can cause foot problems.
How often are you checking your blood sugar, and what numbers are you getting?
Lots of doctors recommend 2 or 3 blood sugar readings each day. I don't - one check of blood sugar in the morning before breakfast and another one the next night at bed time. Then adjust dosing till your sugar levels are OK.

Try new shoes: Often times something as simple as a new pair of shoes can solve this problem. Off the shelf sports orthotics or inserts are also something to consider. Any good running shoe store with trained shoe fitting staff can help you figure the best course of action in your particular case.

Rest: If you can rest it, meaning stay off it if possible, that is probably best. If it continues for a couple weeks and you're concerned about fracture, you can make a routine clinic appointment to get examined.

Plantar fasciitis: Plantar fasciitis can cause pain and swelling of the heels. You will notice the pain especially when you take your first step in the morning. Try anti-inflammatories such as advil, motrin, Ibuprofen or naprosyn (naproxen) with food first.

About forefoot pain: Forefoot pain is hard to assess without an exam. Some people find help with Tylenol (acetaminophen) or Motrin (ibuprofen) for 3 days, no weight-bearing plus cold packs for 3 days, wearing a non-flexible shoe, avoiding sports for a few days, etc... One can see in-person one's primary care doctor, or an orthopedist or podiatrist for an evaluation. Sometimes an online video consultation is adequate.

Remove callus.: Try using utterbalm under occlusion to soften callus, warm water soaks followed by pumice stone will help remove callus. Be sure to wear supportive shoes with arch supports. If problem continues then see a podiatrist to help diagnose and treat the problem.
