i have found that i have numerous small lumps under skin on back and sides of thighs and behind knee.   they are tender to touch.  should i be concern?

: suggest you see dermatologist for eval and poss tx. Although it prob isn't anything serious, it would be wise to obtain an exam of the lesion in person at the doc's office.

i have a lump on the right side on the back side of my knee, its a little tender to the touch with a little pain down my leg..  could it be a cyst?

Possible Baker's...: Cysts behind the cysts(Baker'r cysts) are common and can cause sudden pain and discomfort. IF you palpate it you may start using warm compresses three times a day, and if not allergic taking anti inflammatory medication(like ibuprofen). If not better or worse make sure you get seen by your PCP soon.

Hard to say: There are multiple potential causes, I would definitely be seen for an accurate diagnosis.  An MRI may give more information.  It may represent a benign tumor that has gotten large enough to be pressing on the peroneal nerve, but miltie other possibilities as well.

i have a dime sized spot that looks like a bruise just above my knee.  it does not hurt to touch, but i can feel a lump under it.  should i worry?

Not enough info: Would like to know about range of motion, consistence of the lump etc. If cancer is on your mind cancer would be very unusual. I don&#x27;t think it is related to acl surgery. Please see your family physician. If you do not have insurance you are a good candidate for obamacare.

Could be: Look for an entry point in your skin for the possibility of this being an insect bite. If no punctae site-may be a mild traumatic injury that you don't recall. Either way-things should improve over 1-2 weeks. If any pain/tenderness/redness continues to evolve-see doctor.

Maybe no problem: This may not be a problem. And maybe part of your normal physiology. If it concerns you you can ask your physician and they can clarify if there is a problem

two weeks ago i felt pain below left knee and saw an unexplained bruise later. no injury. bruise has faded a lot but painful lump still there. ideas?

Check it out: It is not unusual to bump yourself and not remember or notice until you see a bruise or feel pain.  I have had this experience from exercise, or even house cleaning if I am not paying attention.  Since the bruise has faded, you. Ignt give it a bit more time to watch for improvement.  Try to recall when it happened.  If it is still bothering you or gets worse again, go see your PCP.

Play but protect: If you have no pain you can play but i would recommend protection over the bruised site to avoid further trauma and hematoma formation.

i took a hard hit to my knee over 2 weeks ago. the bruise (huge & dark) and swelling is nearly disappeared but i still have a huge, hard tender lump?

Knee X-ray: If it is still painful after 2 weeks I would see a doctor for an x-ray- especially if you have pain while walking.
