help please! could croup turn into bronchitis?

Croup: Croup is typically seen in preschool children.  Some of these children develop asthma as they grow older. Asthma ; bronchitis are very similar. Some pediatricians may use the term "bronchitis" when they are unsure if it is asthma, in a given situation.

i have bronchitis and croup but i finished medicine for bronchitis. i still have a barky cough but why? i also feel like coughing on exhale

Cough persists: Even after killing the germs associated with your infection you will have some disturbance in the mucous flow in your lungs.This could last a month. Persistence of a cough that gradually improves is expected.

daughter on methotrexate and my son has bronchitis and croup. dr says he is contagious so should i find someone to keep my daughter overnight?

Viral infection: Difficult to answer and very complicated. She has probably already been exposed. Methotrexate effects primarily neutophils which are seldom involved in fighting viral infections, which cause bronchitis and croup, unless this is pertussis (whooping cough).

my almost 2 year old son has a very loud dry cough. during the night it does sound like a bark. could this be croup or bronchitis? should i take him to a gp today?

Assessment: He may need a short course of steroids. Continue to provide fluids, cool air mist and nasal saline drops. Monitor for fever and if there is a pattern of croup illnesses, further studies of his airway may be required. If the cough is croupy, most likely there is upper airway swelling or narrowing.

my 6 month old was hosiptaised bronchitis and croup and mycoplasma pneumonia. i took her home yesterday with medication to treat what she has she not recovered. but she got bad diarrhea and not eating
