i had bronchitis, a rash, then a stomach virus, and now another rash only on my chest neck and face. is this a post viral rash or something new?

Rash: Did you take any antibiotics or any other medications for the bronchitis? If so, an allergic reaction may be the cause of the rash. If not, it would be unusual for a viral eruption to recur after it cleared once. If the rash persists see a dermatologist for evaluation.

15 mo old son recently had bronchitis the cough & fever stopped almost a week ago. he is coughing again with a low fever & a small rash on his face?

Recheck: He should be rechecked. Either he didn't get completely better or he is having a recurrent episode. Is he exposed to infections or does he attend child care? Is there a family history of asthma? Make sure his immunizations are current. All the best.

Yes: There are many alternatives to penicillin for most infections.

Accepted Answer

Blotchy rash?: Could it be a reaction to one of the medications you were given for your bronchitis?  We’re you given an antibiotic?  This should be re-evaluated by your prescribing doctor, but that would be my first thought.

my daughter started taking tamiflu (oseltamivir) and azitthromycin azithromycin yesterday for bronchitis and flu. she has a rash on her arm and stomach.  advice?

Go see her doctor!: S/he can determine if this rash (common reaction) is severe enough to stop medication.

i have copd and am prone to bronchitis. for most symptoms. for the rash on scalp, lower back, knees, yellow spots on toenails.... could this be psoriasis? i have a family history of it and don't know the best course of action. my scalp is the worst.

what is the difference b/w allergic bronchitis and allergic asthma/asthma?

Location in the lung: Allergy can occur anywhere from the nose to the lungs. Usually asthma is defined when the allergy happens in the smaller air tubes in the lungs and the bronchus is the large air tube. 
There can be different symptoms if the smaller air tubes are involved vs the bronchus

my husband was diagnosed with bronchitis last week..was given a zpac and meds for a cough. he seems to b getting worse again. any advice?

See the doctor: If the symptoms are getting worse and he has been on the antibiotic for at least a week, he may have an infection that is resistant to that antibiotic. The other possibility is that he has a viral infection and did not need an antibiotic in the first place either way, he should followup with his physician to determine if he needs a different treatment.

Whooping cough is a contagious bacterial bronchitis, sometimes serious, making a comeback due to the unfortunate decision of some not to vaccinate their children.
