Since : Since he has such persistent symptoms, I am glad that he is going back in to be seen.  He may need a scope procedure to look into the sinus areas and see what the problem is.  I assume he is taking a decongestant as well; if not he should be.  If nothing is seen by scoping him, he may indeed need another ct scan to evaluate his persistent symptoms.

See below: Sinus or sinusitis is an overused term, without a uniform connotation. Dry air can dry out the mucus membrane of the nose and cause a sensation of burning, especially if you do not make enough mucus. Dry air by itself does not cause sinusitis. Bacterial infection in the sinuses may require antibiotic treatment. Seeing your doctor would be prudent to settle the issue.

Rule out mucoceles : The fact that you mention two bumps above your eyebrows in the setting of sinus infection symptoms gives me pause for concern of a trapped mucus pocket in the frontal sinus, called a mucocele. There are other possibilities, but a mucocele can have severe complications related to the brain and the eyes. I recommend a medical evaluation.

The first step is to see an allergist for a thorough evaluation and treatment plan, and then consult an ENT surgeon if maximal allergy treatment isn't helping.

Steroids: try  using inhaled nasal steroids sold OTC: (Nasacort orFlonase along with a good daily antihistamine like Claritin or Zyrtec ( both available as generic)

Unlikely: in my experience there is no connection between your sinus problems and you being on depot ralovera. having said that if that is what you experience then skip the next Depot ralovera shot and see what happens.
