: Fungal infection thru 'woman's juices' is seldom acquired  on your skin. You will be wasting a lot of  money and medicine doing that. Easier to wear a condom and  clean yourself later

Tough comparison: Broad spectrum is a relative term.  For example, the macrolides have a broader spectrum than penicillin, and the quinolones have a broader spectrum than the macrolides.  A broader spectrum will kill more types of bacteria and is useful when the organism one needs to kill is not known precisely.  Broader spectrum drugs will also kill more natural gut bacteria and are more likely to cause diarrhea.

Not particularly: Turmeric and its constituent curcumin is a wonderful herb with many healing properties- it is anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant, thins blood, supports liver detox, protects against cancer & alzheimer's etc. But I do not consider it to be a strong antibiotic.
